Introduction

Future Solutions is an independent consultancy established to assist the nuclear industry in finding innovative solutions to the future challenges posed by decommissioning and clean up of the  legacy of nuclear research, defence and  electrical power generation.  

With the advent of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) in 2005 the nuclear industry in the UK faces  enormous changes in its structure and role in maintaining and developing nuclear power in the UK in the future, particularly with the increased focus the NDA will place on site operators and contractors to discharge their environmental  liabilities more quickly, safely and cost effectively .

 In discharging these liabilities NDA will also expect all its agents to employ stakeholder involvement processes both in developing and implementing their strategies and plans
